Unemployed for three years and desperate, fifty-year-old Gerard finally lands a lucrative job in Indonesia. Determined to start off on the right foot with his future boss, Gerard invites him to dinner. Big mistake! A terrible cook, panic overcomes Gerard’s wife, Colette who looks to their neighbour, a PR whiz named Alexander for help. In the span of twenty-four hours, Alexander transforms near everything in the couple’s life: from their apartment and interior design to their lifestyle, fashion and common sense.
